Players nominated for the CIS Tennis selection trials

Congratulations to the following players that have been nominated to attend the CIS tennis selection trials

Tuesday 22th Feb 08:30 — 15:00  CIS Open Championships @ The Kings School, 87-129 Pennant Hills Road North Parramatta NSW 2151

Players selected for the CIS will play on Mon 24 — Tue 25 March at the NSW All Schools Boys and Girls Tennis Championships – Bathurst Tennis Centre

Barker Win the CAS Bruce Wood T20 Trophy

Barker College have won back to back T20 Championships and have received the new CAS Bruce Wood T20 Trophy yesterday against Waverley College at Queens Park.

Waverley scored a very competitive total of all out 117 off 20 overs with A Soni top scoring with 42 off 40 balls. J Archer from Barker with the best bowling figures of 4 Ov 20r 3w.

Barker slowly built into their innings and were always in touch with the run rate required. Captain H Abood batted through the innings with 28 off 40 balls. However it was when J Archer came to the crease that the match changed. With 58 off 28 balls Archer lifted the run rate leading to Barker getting the required runs in 17.1 overs with 6 wickets remaining.
