CAS U16 Rugby Team announced

Congratulations to the following boys who have been selected in the U16 CAS Rugby team to play at the NSWSRU trials to be staged at David Phillips Field Daceyville on Saturday June 30th and Sunday July 1st.

CAS U16 Rugby Trials Squads Announced

A squad of  45 students have been selected to attend the CAS U16 Rugby trail day

Location Eastern Suburbs Rugby Union Club Woollahra Oval O’Sullivan Rd, Bellevue Hill NSW 2023

Date and Time Thursday June 7th from 1pm to 4pm.

The trials will take the form of skills tests and a game. Players will be scored on each of the skills test and be given a rating on their game performance. Players will be able to access this information after the trial.

Players are asked to trial in school shorts and socks you will be provided with a jersey to trial in on the day (and it is to be returned at the end of the day).

NO METAL STUDS ARE TO BE WORN.

MOULDED OR NON METAL STUDS ONLY FOR THE TRIAL.

After the trial, the final squad of 23 plus shadows will be selected for the U16 NSW school boys’ trials. The team will be listed on the CAS website on the evening of June 23rd.

CAS finishes 2nd at CIS Opens Football Championships

After a tough night and day of competition CAS has finished second to GPS in the CIS Opens Football Championships. The team performed very well with the second highest number of goals scored and to lowest number to get caught in the back of their own net.

CAS Basketball Winners Against AICES

CAS won both the 1st’s and 2nd’s representative basketball matches against AICES held at Trinity Grammar School on 22/3/18.

1st’s lead at every quarter to finish 92 to 76. Lachlan Bofinger was the top scorer with 17 points with Campbell Green adding 14.

2nd’s also played well winning 79 to 48. There were only 2 points in the game at half time but CAS finished strong. with Jonah Faigen top scoring with 14 points and Kyle Goulding with 10.

With games against ISA and GPS still to come both teams have started well in the representative round robin.

Knox Win the CAS Swimming

Knox Grammar has successfully defended the Thyne Challenge Shield with some outstanding records for their swimmers. In all Knox set 12 new CAS records on the night with Trinity swimmers setting 3. A full break down of the results and records can be fund on the swimming results page.
